Can anyone who has leveled and put bigger/wider tires compare how it effected electric mode? Do you feel as if its harder to get into electric mode? Has it changed how long it will stay in electric mode? Please specify your lift and tire/wheel size please! Any other pertinent info would be appreciated in regard to this topic.

I haven't really noticed a change at all. I'm running 285/65/20s on a 2" Rough Country level. The truck seems to enter and exit electric mode at all the same times and driving conditions as before. I was getting rough 20% of my miles in electric before and I'm getting the same after.

Mine actually got a little better after putting on my Bilstein 6112 and 295/70R18's. I also have a 3:73 gear just for that reason. There's a certain area it will kick in on its own when I'm going 57MPH (60MPH actual speed) It never did that before the tires.

What pressure are you running in your 295 70 18s? I received my powerboost this morning and those are the tires I'm considering.

40 PSI cold. Mine are only a 2 ply sidewall. Most AT's that size are at least 3 ply and are almost 10 pounds heavier per tire.

I'm planning on the Terra Grappler G2s in the SL rating.
