I believe Jesse stated that this update was just released yesterday and is currently 2022 only.

Interesting language change in FDRS?

I'm not ready to answer, though. :)

Note: I can tell that I did a PCM update on a Powerboost because during this Engine On portion of the APIM update, the ICE has never turned off once.
Thanks @Snakebitten ... I hope Ford hasn't forgotten to keep updating the 21's even if they are 2 MYs old now. Makes one wonder how long Ford will supply update for these trucks.

May have been a coincidence, but I wound up seeing a PCM update pop up after completing the APIM, TCU and ABS updates showing for my 22 2.7L 302a Job 2 truck. I think I only ever saw one for my old 2019 after it was delivered.

So, looking for evidence of what ~6gigs (compressed) might have included.

Are these graphics details exactly as before?

Seems the shading has changed and the 3D effects on some objects/buttons are altered from 22228?

I have 8 hours of driving tomorrow. That's time to browse around for anything new

One thing to check is to see if the balance/fade misalignment when using UE has been repaired. If it has, then you’ll know for sure some graphics work has been done.

Full screen CarPlay trickled down to the F150’s last. Wouldn’t be surprised if 21’s get updates last now as well.

I do think there will come time when we finally hit a hardware limitation that newer models will have that’ll stop us then.

I tend to agree with you. Will not be pleasant seeing the newer trucks get options that I would like. There is the difference between like, want and need tho. But that being said, I am retired, this truck is almost 20 months old with only 25,413 KM (15,790 MI). I don't think a new truck is in my future unless I win a lottery.

Getting a license this weekend to replace my headlight control module and curious what other updates will show up. Just saw that Ford is working on software to prevent their SUV's from catching on fire from a broken fuel injector by monitoring fuel rail pressure and detuning the engine if pressure drops to prevent a fire. I'm sure this will trickle down to all vehicles as a safety precaution.

But this is what I'm curious about.
A comparison of two pics of the menu item bubbles.
Mine to the left, another to the right.
Is it the difference between the APIM update I just did? Or is it the difference between Unreal enabled and not enabled?

That just the difference between unreal and not I believe, it seemed to change most of the toggles like that

Thanks. I do remember that it was richer and more in depth for many of the "objects" on screen after I previously enabled Unreal.
I just wasn't sure that that specific menu object (toggle) had the rich height to it that I now see.

Again, just looking for what 6 gigs must have had in it. Looks like it wasn't graphically related, but rather function of some kind?

Ya, those different toggle design graphics came with unreal.

Hard to say when it comes with software, it seems that way with everything really. Sometimes it can be just a small patch file, other times it has to be the whole software file size again just to do small changes.
