Thank you. I’m still trying to figure out how this works. I have to invest serious money to do this myself? Will they download automatically at some point? Can I ask Ford to preform the updates ?

Depends on how you want to approach it.

1. You can wait for the OTA to work itself out. >>>> might never show up if your truck's module has issues
2. Ford dealer can update it >>> might be a waste of time, many trips, days or weeks with no results. Flip of a coin
3. Or do it yourself, most on this thread is on the do it yourself option using the instructions/guidelines on the first page.

I waited for the OTA, then went to the dealer, they kept my truck for 2 days, was told it was done when I came to pick it up service advisor did not talk to the tech or read tech notes, tech had issues updating so he gave up. Said they would need my truck for much longer.

Last week I installed the ABS update successfully. Why I am getting it again?

The ABS and GSM modules appear to be stuck in the SW updates page after they have ran. Hopefully Ford will realize this and fix FDRS to clear them out. If you ran them that’s what matters.

So for 302A owners that recently got the new updates did you all get to 22095? I'm still stuck at 22087 with no further APIM update showing... 🤷‍♂️ (8" cluster, yes 360, no adaptive cruise)

Looks like they tried to update the APIM yesterday and it failed. But they did apply some other updates in the previous days (TCU May 2nd, a lot on April 28th (DDM, DSM, PDM, IPC, TRM, SCCM, GWM) so it's not like nothing was happening.

Thanks for the info. I guess I will pick me truck up this afternoon and wait for OTA updates. I'm really not sure of my options besides doing it myself or finding another dealer. You got any recommendations?

Thanks.

This is what makes this endeavor continue to succeed. Thanks for jumping in and helping others out. Very generous and I'm appreciative of folks like yourself.

Got me wondering if some on here is from Ford Corporate trying to nudge people to update themselves to save their bottom line since going to dealers will cost them on warranty related work..... hmmm
