I'd like to see benefits to update for my non-BC truck. Better lane centering and whatever but I can live with it as it is now.

Yep that's what I'm excited to try as well when I get my new 23 rig set up. There are few trouble spots I drive by a lot, so curious how 1.2 will handle them.

So I bought a left over 22’ back in march. I had someone with FDRS run my vin and was sent screenshots of a ton of updates for my truck. I did just get the “full screen” update OTA, but I know there are other updates available. I brought my truck to the dealer for an oil change, and was asking them to update some things.. they claim there is none. (Lies). Anyways, with 5 Fords at the house I figured it’s time to expand from just forscan on a crappy Amazon/windows tablet to now a Windows laptop & mongoose cable.

Long story short, as a Mac & iOS guy it’s very difficult not only to just purchase a PC, but to pick one out. I liked the Toughbook idea and how the screen disconnects from the keyboard and becomes a tablet etc.

I found a refurbished one on Amazon for around $1000. Anyways. After receiving it, the track bad hardly works and the charger only works sometimes.

What do you guys recommend? I was trying to stay under $1,000, as I already have an almost 4k dollar MacBook Pro that I use for everything else.

It’s really hard to find Windows 10 anymore, and there is a comparability mode to help with legacy programs, but it shouldn’t need it. There are plenty of success stories here on Windows 11.

Can confirm, been running Windows 11 for a long time and haven't had any troubles with FDRS.

I bought a cheap $300 laptop for FDRS and Forscan. Works great for that and surprisingly Windows 11 runs well on it.

Fired up FDRS yesterday to do the GWM equivalent to OTA 4.3.5. Did everything until I got the "Application Finished" message. Performed network scan, GWM update is still there. Rebooted FDRS and tried again, and again the GWM update is still there after performing the update and another network scan.

Anyone else have issues with the latest GWM update? I still have the latest PCM update there that i haven't done because it will erase my tune and I don't feel like dealing with that for an update that means nothing to me. I don't think one thing has anything to do with the other, but strange that the update does not come off.

Same issue here with no other updates showing

They ended up sending me a new keyboard for the Toughbook and all is well. Got onto FDRS for the first time today. Only did one small update for the wireless charger just to test it out.

i bought the recommended battery charger from Amazon, but it doesn’t come until tomorrow. My battery voltage was 11.7 after a while so I didn’t wanna push my luck.

Have you checked to see if the software actually installed and it’s just a problem with FDRS failing to report the update to the as-built database? Use FORScan to read the software version directly from the module itself and compare it to the version FDRS is reporting. If FORScan shows a newer version, then the update installed fine and you’ll just need to wait for it to eventually clear from FDRS.

I didn't check, no. I did think about that being a possibility, but I had my kids with me last night, so I didn't want to spend to much time tinkering with the truck. I'll do that tonight.

Anybody out there with a 23 have a new APIM update?
Ford F-150 ECU module programming guide using FDRS 1694728244530

I've been checking on and off the last couple weeks and was up to date, then saw these two for today. I was in line (update wise) with another 23 truck I was keeping an eye on (we were up to date). However just checked it as well and it only has the IPC update, no APIM.
