Yes the RV can be taken care of by Ford as long as they have room for it in their maintenance bays. There are Ford large vehicle maintenance facilities if it’s too big for the dealer. Just did the research by calling my service advisor lol.

As for slide topper/awnings, black/dark colors is the way to go. And never put them away wet or they will develop all sorts of funky mold that will take some time clean-up.Yes. I went up on the roof and it looked pretty clean and solid up there.
One of the pics is the slide protector awning. I’m figuring out how slides work and how to maintain them. It’s a worry spot for me.
Floor plan comes first. My wife loves the bathroom. I have a few deal breakers. I want a 450 chassis, fiberglass roof, vacuum bonded composite sides, one piece fiberglass front cap, and we need to reach the fridge, the bathroom, and a bed without extending the slides. Checks those boxes, and then adds full body paint, a 4.5kW inverter/generator with variable RPM, and a decent suspension package. “EZ-Ride” comes with Firestone rear air bags, a Hellwig rear sway bar, and Bilstein shocks all around.
