@ToTheDuals get any rub at all yet? Have you been on any uneven terrain?
Zero rub anywhere. Room to go a big bigger.@ToTheDuals get any rub at all yet? Have you been on any uneven terrain?
Good cuz I got a set of 285/75 r18 sitting I'm my garage waiting for the truck to get here and I was a little nervous. Thanks man!!!!!Zero rub anywhere. Room to go a big bigger.
All the paint work including painting fender flares that I didn’t install was 3500. So your quote is pretty fair in my opinion.Truck looks awesome! I’m wanting to do a similar chrome delete on my incoming Platinum in Agate Black. Curious how much they charged you for yours? I’m getting quoted $3500 from my dealership, but have no point of reference yet to know if that’s good or bad. Getting some quotes from other custom shops in town (Dallas, tx), but haven’t heard back yet.
Great to know. I called Wild Willies the location that inspired my build and they wanted $6500.All the paint work including painting fender flares that I didn’t install was 3500. So your quote is pretty fair in my opinion.
Flaps are from 5 Star. Company in Canada. They are a 12” wide kick back.First of all - AWESOME TRUCK! Definitely the best one I have seen! Couple questions...
1. Can you share details on the mudflaps?
2. Did you have your painter do the grille emblem and side vent or did you buy that from somewhere?
I seriously doubt it.Looks awesome! Does that antenna pick up a good signal?
Do your tires rub when you turn?. I had a 2015 platinum and always would rub. Went to and gmc at4 and now going back to platinum apparently it's in transit from a april order. Don't want to purchase wheels and find out tires rub. My only dislike with the platinum is the chrome, you did awesome. Very nice...Hey guys,
My first post on here. Been creeping for awhile while having my truck built.
2021 Platinum Crew 4x4 added the Roush/Fox coil over kit and left it at the factory 2” setting. 20x9 Fuel wheels +20 offset, 305/55R20 General Grabber A/Tx tires. 5 Star kick back flaps (I drive a lot of gravel) Ford roll top cover, Roush intake (tune & cat back to come) 50% tint on side windows, 50 cal shorty antenna, had all the chrome painted to match with some black accents, entire from end has a 3M wrap to protect from stone chips.
Going to add a 1.5” taller block to the rear yet as I prefer the look of a slight rake.
Had 3 Chevys in a row and couldn’t be happier to be back in a Ford!
I left the small chrome rectangular pieces. Would have been a huge PITA to paint. What a beautiful truck! I just bought the same one and so far have done a level, tire and rim. The chrome delete is my next path and I appreciate you sharing your vision. Question: did you leave the small markers inside the grill as the stock chrome?
