Mine has a button on the dash just push after you start the engine. You have to push it every time you start the truck. No big deal.

Thank you for the replies, that clears up my confusion. I knew about the cylinder deactivation from reading the forum, but was unclear about the auto start stop on the 5.0L. My 2018 SCREW 2.7L has auto start/stop and it does not bother me. Looking forward to getting my 2021. Blend date is 07/27.. if it don't change.

To be clear, the Auto Start/Stop has a button on the dash. Cylinder Deactivation should be turned off in sport & T/H mode, but does not have a physical button.

I believe that's true.

I can feel and hear the deactivation and choose not to play that game. Sport mode for me. Hopefully we can revert to last mode setting with Forscan...

Really? Honestly, I can't feel/hear mine. I can only tell when the MPG jumps to 30... How do you notice it? I want to watch for it in mine

Honestly…. Yeah the same. If I didn’t know it was there from reading about it I would have never known. Even trying to notice it I can’t.

The start/stop thing… that one is a bit obnoxious…. There are time I want it but it always picks the times I don’t.

18.4 MPG at 1700 miles. 3.31 all stock with no changes planned except for a topper or cap as some call it
