Loose connections or damage in the lines cause noise. With loose connectors and damaged wire you also have heat produced due to resistance. If you tune around 1200 kHz on AM and drive around you will hear the noise level rise and fall. These noise changes are caused by different sources, some of them are the our issues.Interesting. Please elaborate.
What are the call signs? I would love to see if they do an online stream. There's a local am station out of Aitkin, Minn. that plays the best classic rock of any station I've found including Sirius. Very nostalgic with hits I haven't heard in years. I'm sure the younger listeners probably wouldn't appreciate it much though.
