Yes, I had one on my 2017 Lariat and it more than paid for itself. If you use Zeigler or Flood and buy within the first 12,000 miles and 12 months it cost lees than waiting until after that point. Also on Zeigler if you are paying in full (not financing) Use "payinfull" in the coupon code and you will get $250.00 off.

Most certainly! Had one on my 2018 also, got money back on it for I did use much of it. Never have before the 2018, I never keep one past warranty. Trying to keep them longer so decided to extend the warranty.

As already mentioned, too much expensive tech not to these days, if you plan to keep past bumper to bumper in my opinion.

I plan on going through Ziegler like most people who buy an esp do here. If the dealer would match I will just do it through them but it’s highly unlikely they will price match!

Get the extended warranty on at least the electronics like stated before with all the new hi tech goodies you better play it safe.

Lots of variables. Time/mileage/deductible/state, but as an example: 6 year/100k with $100 deductible is about $1500.

If it is not used ( my Ranger was not) I still maintain that some technician flips the hidden “Self Destruct Switch at 36000” to OFF

this probably happens at your first dealer visit for service.

I look forward to the warranty expiring so that I can do silly shit to my truck.

Or at least that’s what I always think, then I just keep everything stock.

With all the technology, if there’s lots of nonsense to deal with during the warranty period, I will either sell or trade before the factory warranty expires.

Otherwise, the fancy tech of today is the stuff that three years from now, there will be YouTube videos on how to fix or hack.
