I didn't see many sections in the videos where you would have needed a lift / more skid plates. What sections were you scraping on?

You are correct sir. Even with no FX4, all good up to that point. However after the last vid the GoPro battery died.
I followed an FJ who was following a lifted GMC onto an "alternate" route down a really nasty rocky descent from there. Spotter said on radio the FJ wont make it, but we were both too far down to back out at that point, otherwise I would have gone around. I think that's when I hit the air dam and transmission cross member. So I have to be careful who I follow. Then later up a slot canyon a Jeep broke a clip on transfer case connector and we all had to go up around him. That's was one time when I hit the bumper, but I could have avoided that one. Like I said I'm no expert, out there trying to learn. I prefer to over engineer something to be safe and then drive comfortably under its limits unless needed. Also this course was for Overland training on off-road terrain we normally wouldn't encounter on a planned overland trip.

Those look sharp. Any idea what they weigh? Are they the 1/4" aluminum ones?

Did you install rear recovery points? A lot of those clubs like you to have at least one back there.

Yep front and rear point(s) required. Hitch and pin minimum. Rhino USA locking pin and Anti-Rattle clamp etc. Plus 3 soft shackles, tree strap (bridle) and 30' static strap. Prob get a red bow shackle at some point though. lol

Is that a U shaped clamp on there as well? I have basically the same setup, but in blue. Lol. No clamp tho.
