Was playing around in the XP Plan builder and noticed the destination charge is now $1,795. Don't know when this went into effect. Did a forum search and didn't find anything about it. Since 22MY orders are no longer accepted I guess it's the first price increase we'll see for 23MY. Then again maybe it's been in effect for a while and I didn't notice.

Had considered ordering a 22 near the end of last year until I seen all the early deletions and they just kept coming. Not to forget all of the price increases. Seems like all models should be renamed. XL = X XLT = XL Lariat = XLT, Platinum = Lariat, Limited = Platinum. Seeing a pattern here and I think average turn around time is even worse than when I ordered my 21.

It went into effect earlier this this year, and there is also a mid year price increase going into effect 6/1. I believe it’s $385 for the F150.

Just don’t mention the “i” word!

Why are any of these price increases surprising? Ford isn’t doing this to gouge their customers, they’re just passing on their increased costs to the consumer. I’m surprised that they haven’t upped their delivery charge even more.

The products we need to be suspicious of are the ones that haven’t increased in price over the last 18 months!

They are doing their damnedest to keep everyone away from the lower trims though. Paywalling options into higher trims. They let fleet orders get things like reverse backup and power driver’s seats for the base XL but a regular Joe needs to step up to XLT Mid for the latter. Ford can’t even be bothered to offer LED headlights at all on the regular cab trucks.
