From my dealer-Ford is not scheduling this week, therefore I will not receive a scheduling update this week.

I'm hoping they let the dealers fix this and not try and do it before they ship.

Update Prior to Sale 20U24

Certain 2021 Model Year F-150 Vehicles Equipped with Blind Spot Monitoring

Affected vehicles are identified in OASIS and FSA VIN Lists.
REASON FOR THIS PROGRAM
NOTE: You are receiving this bulletin because your dealership has in stock, or will receive, an affected vehicle covered by this program.
For the affected vehicles, a customer will receive a warning message that there is a Blind Spot System Fault if this fault is present when the vehicle is started. The customer is required to press the OK button if he/she wishes to clear the warning and a persistent telltale will be present in the cluster. This failure mode will set a Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) of U3000-49 and will disable vehicle features supported by the side radar such as the Blind Spot Information System (BLIS), BLIS with Trailer Tow (BTT), Cross Traffic Alert (CTA), Rear Cross Traffic Braking (RCTB) & Lane [Centering] Aid (LTA) for the duration of the ignition cycle. A separate warning will be displayed for each function not working. Functions will recover on the next ignition cycle.
SERVICE ACTION
DO NOT DEMONSTRATE / DELIVER any new in-stock vehicles involved in this program. A complete Dealer Bulletin will be provided to affected dealers in the Fourth Quarter of 2020 when it is anticipated that repair instructions will be available to support this program.
OWNER NOTIFICATION MAILING SCHEDULE
Owner letters will not be mailed for this program.

Hmmm, would think that this could be handled by the OTA updates.... Possible a good test of OTA.

Very interesting.
Looks like they changed something with the BLMS in the 2021 F150 compared to the 2015-2020 F150 because I’ve never heard of the current system having any issues.

Hopefully they’ll get things squared away before owners start taking deliveries.

Probably, plus I was told they are not scheduling this week anyway, so, same as not having OKTB.

I guess all we can hope for is the 30th to be a much better week.

This is horrible news....they made 20K before this was checked?!

Wonder how long this will delay trucks that are already made. Fixed at factory or dealership could make a big difference.

I have had this happen once on my 2019, where I got a slew of "errors" on startup including Bliss.... Drove home without capabilities and shut the truck off, expecting to have to schedule a Maintenance trip. However, when I started the truck the next morning ass of the capabilities were restored and I have not seen a repeat of this condition in the last 10 months.

Not sure if this is the same item or not, note it appears that based on date some of the 2020 have this issue as well.

Must be a pretty big issue if they aren’t scheduling for a whole week...

Blind spot monitoring and BLIS systems are on the majority of new cars these days, so probably the vast majority of F-150s are affected...
