I know a SuperCab Raptor was available at one point because my neighbor has one, so SuperCab roll down should not come as a surprise.

From what I understand only the KR and Plat have the bed camera now .
I know that, I was wondering if the Lariat has the correct wiring harness if someone were to buy the camera to try to add. My 2023 has the harness.

Ford F-150 Deletions - 2021 to 2025 Lariat IMG_8930

My 2024 502A high Lariat 5.0 BAP on the right compared to a 2025 502A high Lariat 5.0 BAP on the left.
The 2025 has the cheaper fog lights, no HUD, no spray in bed liner, no bed lighting, no trailer pro, no weight scale, no key pad on the door and is 5k more MSRP.

Pleather is a game-changer, for the better. Leather blows after 4-5 years if your upkeep is only every couple of weeks.
People don't realize most leather today isn't. The material cost is higher than leather, but it's also a more durable product. Leather ends up being more expensive due to flaws in the hide, but as a raw material it's cheaper. Faux suede is a superior product compared to real in all aspects.

Faux products end up completely uniform in construction/quality with the color being part of the material itself and not a dye.

Just purchased a 2025 Lariat 502a, space white, v8, max tow, BAP, bed utility package. Looks just like the one on the left. I had originally ordered a 2024 in July which Ford could not fulfill. When I converted to a 2025 order I expected to get basically the same truck except for changing the color which was not available in 2024. It's missing the leather seats, fog light LED DRLs, bed scales, secure code keypad, power tilt, buttons above the screen, tailgate release button inside the cab. The boxlink system has also been discontinued in recent years.

Seems like Ford is cutting many small features which all adds up to a big annoyance. However none of these things were a deal breaker for me. Actually I can see the benefits long term. Those fog lights with the DRLs are over $300 to replace and that DRL will eventually go out. I've seen reports of power steering column issues. The faux leather is more durable. I had the keypad on the vehicle I traded in and I rarely used it. I would have preferred to keep these missing features but I can also see the benefits to not having them. The truck is just as capable. It checks all the big boxes for me: v8, max tow, no cloth seats, HUD, premium audio, BAP. To complain about a few missing buttons or lights in the bumper feels like "first world problems". This truck is still an amazing vehicle and I am blessed to have it.

Just wanted to share my thoughts and perspective as someone who expected to have a 2024 with all the features and still bought a 2025 without them.

Maybe that's important for some, but not for me. It doesn't even make my list. I promise you no one is going to hear my system and think, "sounds decent but it really needs 4 more speakers." LOL. The wife is sensitive to loud music so honestly it's probably better not having speakers in the headrests.

The hides may be free, or near it but turning that into leather, isn't.

We used to have all our deer hides tanned but the cost got so high, I haven't had any done in a decade or more.

My deer processor charges $10 extra if you want a head mount because they have to leave more of the hide attached. The processor has less work, less waste to dispose of but somehow charges extra because those hides are free and worthless.

Hmm. I don't know about that. Skinning out a head, is a lot more work than chopping it off and dealing with the rest of the hide.

10 bucks sound like a bargain.

I don't care what any other person thinks. I care what I think. That Hi-Res Lossless Audio with Stereo Imaging (yes, via a cable with Apple Music) when driving on a 22 hour drive across the continent is important to me. lol

King ranch seats mention these imperfections as they are real hides off real cows

For MY 24 that was in the Platinum high only. $10k more to get 4 more speakers along with a few other things. I have way too sensitive of hearing to get headrest speakers. They would always be out of balance with the rest of the sound image. As I have it now, I put the fader circle in between the rear and front seats to get a somewhat centered sound picture... those dash speakers are out of balance with the front doors from the start.

Sounds like you have some problems in your stereo. This is the first I've heard of this. When Ford let the B&O engineers have free rein in the cabin to put any speakers they wanted I can guarantee you that time correction was a big thing. I have yet to hear a single out of timing beat in any type of music.

The idea that the best selling pickup truck in North America was sold to tens of thousands of people with time correction not taken into account is laughable.

You should definitely take your truck in for service.

why would anyone not want to have all the extra stuff, it’s a no brainer but some will try to say that they don’t need it or care about it so they can feel good about their purchase.
