The H8 is such a monster AGM and has a little buddy battery to boot. I wonder if a smaller main AGM might actually help the anemic charge/float algorithm fill up the battery more completely. I've had solar systems at work struggle and slowly fail because we had too much battery for the panels. The batteries, charging system, and the load need to be properly matched imo.
