Have not driven my '22 for a few days and got this notice while sleeping last night.
Is this okay?
Do I 'have' to drive it daily? Been driving my '15 lately.

No, you do not have to drive it daily. But at some point the battery management system has to intervene and put the truck in a coma.

Coma = yesterdecade vehicle.
They were all in a deep sleep when you turned the ignition off. 😁

Okay. Cuz I decided to take liability off of the '22 and just drive the '15 until it sells.
Anyone else having a hard time selling trucks right now?
'15 is in immaculate condition and I'm five grand below both blue books and still can't sell it

Im finding that... Im guessing the horrible interest rates are to blame?
Im in that UNsweet spot. $10k cash for a truck is doable for most, financing an new truck is doable, but $30k used is not a good spot to be in. I think Im going to have to take a big hit.
:(

If you need to get out of it quickly, bring it to some local dealerships and see what they will give you for it. Will usually be less that what you get through a private party sale, but they can have you a check that day if nobody else is biting.

Check Carmax, they seem to be offering the most money nowadays.
Yes, 7% interested at most banks, even tier 1 credit is crude! LOL

Thanks, Ive done that at two dealerships and they offered $23k and $24k. Books at $34k (retail\private seller) and I still have Factory Warranty for 11,000 miles as well as clear bra, light bar, dual exhaust, bla bla bla. CarMax couldnt 'find one thing wrong with the truck'.

Not desperate to sell. '22 is already paid off, would just like to get some cash back in my pocket.
I kinda hijacked my own thread... hehe

Anyway, '22 is just going to stay sleeping for a bit.

i received the same message for my truck yesterday while we were sitting in it with engines off for couple hours waiting for our son's class to finish. first time we've seen that. i just had a dash cam installed which is hardwired to the fuse box, and i set the dash camera cutoff voltage at 12v. wonder if that has anything to do with it. it's strange we received this message as we drive the truck everyday.

Which fuse are you connecting to? Is it live even when the truck is off?

Regardless of battery charge level, the truck will enter deep sleep after ~2 weeks of sitting idle. If you were getting close to that, it could just be a normal thing.

the one near the bottom of passenger door.
Isnt there a bank of fuses under there? Just make sure its not a constant on or it will drain the battery... Im not a fuse guru on these new trucks, so cant tell which one to use.
