One good thing about having a VIN though is checking your status yourself. Of course here latly mine just says "ditto".

Thank you, sir! That was kinda my point that “awaiting VIN” status essentially means nothing at this point in the game. I knew it wouldn’t be picked up this week after the update.

I just figured I’d take your advice and throw a line out to my dealer, and that was my result!

Might not be a shortage or issue with the engine.
I’m wondering if they are getting an overwhelming response to
The PB & EB engines and wish to concentrate on those.

Hope it’s not a quality issue, and I just don’t see them running out of Mustang motors

Interesting thought, but I think it’s the something to do with the Max Tow package or that 3.55 axle ratio. Both the 3.5 EcoBoost and the 5.0 V8 are no availability if coupled with that.

Don't be too disappointed - I've had a Vin for some time now and I don't feel any closer to getting excited. I was excited for about a day and then realized it didn't really change anything.

Just heard from dealer, my Lariat Powerboost is scheduled for the week of Jan 11, should get a specific date friday.....optimistic guess for in my possession was early February. Definitely not as soon as a I wanted, but at least some progress with respect to information.

Just got my vin and build date. Week of 1/18/21. Ordered on 9/8. Lariat high, Powerboost, 20” dark alloy wheels.

My local CostcoAuto Ford dealer finally gave me a build date today (VIN available, but he didn't provide).
Order Date: 09/07/20
Build Date: 1/18/21
Delivery: Estimated end of February, 2021.

Still no pricing.

As it's looking now, I don't expect getting a deliverly until late - Feb. Also have not recieved a VIN yet. I had to cancelled my orginal order with a terrible dealership and then reordered with another. I had to drive far from my home but all worth it.

It's all good cause I had no intentions at all in dealing with any lying, money hungry ripoff salesmen/dealership.

congrad's what part of Canada. Yrs ago I spent 45 day's @ a place about 191 km's /South of Edmonton called Wainwright. Enjoyed the stay, loved the city (Downtown Wainwight) and enjoyed training with the Canadian's.
