@mxwrk Your truck looks great. Who did the suspension work on it or did you do it all yourself?
Thanks! I like to do work myself, but this would have been a pain at my apartment. I bought the parts from Camburg in Huntington Beach, and they did they install for me. Very high quality parts, and very smart guys over there.

Got the Powerboost out on another adventure through parts of Death Valley and the eastern sierras. The Fox 2.0 coilovers, Camburg upper arms, method wheels, and BFG’s handled the terrain well. Still (almost) no complaints from the truck. The newly added RokBlokz mud flaps definitely helped on this trip but only so much. The recent rains sure made it slick out there in some spots. I need a lift and a pressure washer now. Lots more pics and videos on my IG @HeavyOverland

Looks like a very fun trip. With the water and rocky terrain, this was a great place to test the f150

Terrific photos! Spend a lot of time in the White Mountains just east of Bishop on the Nevada side. Looking forward to the next trip

Awesome pics/trip! What type of rack is that holding your tent (may have missed it if you already mentioned)?

My first thought when I saw your truck rim deep in water was, I hope Ford used good caulking ;-) JK, it's cool to see folks getting out there! There really is something humbling about no one for miles and miles when you get there....
To add to humbling experience of being alone, way back in 1971. the cruiser I was on was transiting the Atlantic on the way from Puerto Rico to Rota, Spain. For 2 or 3 days, while in the middle of the Atlantic, we had no contacts on either the surface or air search radars. That is quite the feeling of being alone.

I wish I was out west. The east coast sucks. Keep on truckin'.
While I don't agree that the East Coast sucks, I am very grateful to live in the West (Utah) where we have such a diversity of geography and so much public land.

.....so much public land.
There is so little public land on the east coast/eastern United States - if any at all, and especially near where one lives - that this is the reason I say it sucks. Out west public land is in abundance almost anywhere you live. The best thing about living in the northeast is that I have so much water I don't know what to do with it.

@mxwrk what is the bracket that you have behind/around third brake light?

It’s made by Bullet Proof Diesel. It’s a bullet aluminum antenna mount. One side is my 4G antenna for a cell signal booster, and the other side is a VHF/UHF antenna for my radio I use out on the trail. Used to be able to just slap a magnet antenna on my Excursion but these aluminum body trucks make things a bit more complicated

Have you installed any underbody protection. For whatever reason, I can't find anything that fits on a PB other than RCI
