I'll be installing a newer dashcam this weekend (I hope), and I'll probably try placing it closer to centered (directly to the right the mirror stalk) because the GPS unit is mounted differently. I was also going for the least amount of obstructed view as possible.

For now it's mounted per the following photos;

Anyone got recommendations for a camera mount that hangs from the rear view mirror stalk? I’ve used a particular mount in our other vehicles but it’s kind of janky to be quite honest.

Sticky mounts just don’t work where we live. Gets way too hot and the things just melt right off.

I have an escort M1. It is attached to the mirror stalk with a Blendmount. The radar detector is on the same mount. I have photo earlier in this thread.
