Dash Cam Hardwire issue

Hello,

I am in the process of trying to hardwire my F7NP to my 2022 F150 Lariat, because my truck uses micro fuses I had to order a fuse tap kit. The issue I am having is because of the layout of my fuse box and the placement of the ACC power and the Constant power the fuse taps will not fit in the fuse box. The fuse power structure is as follows, all of the fuses has constant power except for 2, 18, 22, 30, and 35-37. I have attached photos of my fuse box, hardwire kit, and fuse tap kit. Please see the link below of the fuse box diagram. Any help you could give me would be greatly appreciated.

Do your fuse taps actually fit in the slots? The tolerances on the F150's fuse slots have been tightened up to the point that generic China made taps will not insert into the slots. I had to order Bussmann taps which fit. The Bussmann taps are also tall enough that the wire clears the edge of the fuse box.

I used Slot 3 and Slot 35.

As suggested on another post I purchased this adapter. Works great if you have power to your rear view mirror.

I was going to buy that adapter a few weeks back, but it says it's for F150 without lane keep assist. I guess I'll have to run my own wire to the fuse box.

Interesting, I don’t remember seeing that when I ordered mine for a. 21 PB, with lane keep and copilot 360. I’m not having any issues with lane keep but maybe they changed specifications.

I used a micro2 tap kit from Amazon that fit perfect.

Yes, and is still working. Lane keep and 360 copilot. I don’t remember seeing it wouldn’t work when I purchased (but I see the statement now) so something may have changed. Maybe reach out to manufacturer. It’s a great option if you don’t want to run a wire back to fuse box.

Question..

I am getting ready to install a dash cam. Looking at the fuse diagram, are the fuse locations that are not used still powered? What I'm looking to do is possibly use two of those locations to power my camera instead of using a tap.

Odd, I have LKA and use this dongle with my dash cam. No problems at all.
Maybe the seller is trying to prevent users from "blocking" the OEM camera that might be built in to part of the mirror?

I called Dongar Technologies about this and they say do not worry about it---it all works perfect!!! Not sure why they even say that statement lol----

NO! just ignition power, so if you want parking mode and all the other stuff to work, then you will have to hard wire it in
