I think they have a minimum but what I do is finance the difference from my trade. when my statement comes I just pay it off. Haven't had a car payment for many years now and it would drive me nuts.

I had a 0.9 percent special rate on a vehicle I had bought a few years back and after 4 months It bothered me so bad I just went ahead and paid it to close it out.

At my age if I can't pay for it I don't need it. Lol I've been blessed

I do think if you have one of those email or mail in $2500 rebates that they can be combined with the finance rebate, I know I was able to on my 2015.

8.9%! Holy hell lol. No thank you
It's all based on credit score and length of the loan.

Good credit then you get a good rate, not so good credit then you pay a higher interest rate. Bad credit then they won't even finance you. This is the same everywhere including credit unions.

In order for me to get, at the time a $1,250 rebate, I got 2.7% financing on 19,000 for 36 months. I paid the loan off in 30 days. One moth's interest was $22.25 and I received the rebate of $1,250. That is a profit of $1,227.75.

If rate is 5.4% then you would pay $44.50 in interest.

If you are not paying cash, all banks and credit unions, will finance a credit approved person, the new car interest rate on a 30 day old vehicle. Many will up to 2 years old, give the new car rate.

So, I would finance with Ford myself and take the extra cash. So I play their game to my advantage, not theirs and I just won't leave it financed there!

But that is just me, I like extra savings...

I will also play the game to get the best rebates and then pay off the loan quickly. I guess my point was that it seems predatory for Ford to portray a 8.9% interest rate as a "deal." Might as well use a credit card lol.

One probably should not buy a $50K+ truck if they need 84 months to pay it off. But that is just my unsolicited 2 cents.

Not surprising to see the largest cash discount on the XLT. That is their volume leader and, based on what I have seen on the inventory search, the truck they are currently cranking out in mass. I have told salesman to assume I can buy the vehicle any way I choose (blessed for this to be the truth) and to show me how to get me to the best bottom number.

BTW: when I went to the Rebates page, it asked me if I wanted to claim my $2,000 Cash Reward. I went ahead and claimed, as I had only received the $2,500 mailer. I know you can't combine, but having both can't hurt.

Someone I know on another forum was trying to get the $2500 personal rebate I had gotten. He was not having any luck till recently. This is what he said.

"I just got mine by taking a different route. I went to the owner.ford.com website. I went to the drop down box in the top right hand corner and signed in. I then went back to the drop down box and clicked on "account". Then the $2500 offer popped up. I then filled out the form and it was emailed to me in about a minute."

I already had an account with the "FordOwners" site and that may be why I got mine.

I registered for an account today on owner.ford.com. Haven’t seen any offers come through, hoping something comes through today. $2500 + a financing rebate would be awesome.

Was at the dealer today and they shared they had $1,600 in rebates available if traditional financing is used. $1000+$500+$100

Yeah, about the only good thing about the extra weight is the finance rebate, I hope it goes from $1,000 to something higher after 4 Dec. That is when the current one expires. Maybe even the KR $500 rebate will also.

A normal year they would be pushing over 200,000 and this year, they probably around 40ish k.

Not sure if that would bring more rebates or less.

REF: $1,000 Ford Finance Incentive, I have not seen it (yet), in writing but dealership told me - in order to get the $1K incentive one has to finance $10K.

B&P has a $2500 on the XLT
$1000 finance thru Ford
$1500 cash back
Good until 1-4
I’m beginning to wonder if even the first truck delivered will be before that date.

Remind me again (have seen some other commentary on this topic), if I order a truck today, agree to pay invoice price, place the order, and the truck arrives to dealer on Jan 30, will I still get the current rebate(s)?

I'm wondering / guessing the same. I'll be happy if I see mine by March 2021. Just my hunch!
