You think it might be because the battery pack and inverter sits right in front of the rear axle?

I would guess the battery is the heaviest, so yes, the higher rear axle rating makes sense there. Electric motor is probably halfway between and would end up on both axles.

What caught my eye is comparing to a previous generation max-tow EccoBoost, which is 3600 Front / 3800 Rear / 7050 GVWR....they added 300 lbs to GVWR (which drives the payload) but added 650 lbs to the axles.

I did ask them that and it seemed to stump them. I don't think these guys were engineers, I even knew a few things they didn't about the 21 model. One guy was like, do they put goosenecks on F150s?

I think you will need to contact Ford customer service and let them find out for you to be sure.

Kyle, did you take any pictures of the interior of the KR? I thought Ford did a great job with the leather color and interior on that model. Much better looking in person, and not nearly as orange as previous years'.

Not exactly my taste, but I do agree it was well done and more subtle than I’ve seen in previous model years. These are the only other pics I got of the King Ranch model. If you look closely, you can see the headrest speaker that’s a part of the Bang & Olufsen Unleashed sound system.

I can't believe that on the Bang & Olufsen Unleashed system they would use white speaker covers! Speakers should seamlessly blend in with their surroundings. Those white discs stand out like a sore thumb. Hopefully they're easily removed and can be painted to blend in.

I believe the covers are silver. I’m sure it is part of the B&O agreement so that it “stands out”. Just my 2 cents.

Not really, the close up screen shoots and roof controls were from the Lariat. Sorry, it did have a black headliner.

Speaker covers were like a brushed or matted aluminum, should be easy to paint if you want.

I was really impressed with the HO sound system and the 18 speakers. Had a real surrond sound about it and it don't have to have blasting to hear the well balance and surround-ness of it.

I was as well! I’m a bit of an audiophile, and the B&O Unleashed is a must have option for me after hearing it!!

Akins is huge dealer outside of Athens, GA. That would have been a better place to see the truck, as there is room to open up the throttle out there. I find it funny that even the guy in the video, looking right at Smoked Quartz, can't seem to tell what color it is.
