Please ask "when will downloadable owner's manual be available?"

Thanks in advance
From the test drive event, it will be fully available in the truck, of course. It should be posted online in its full form in a couple of weeks!

Just got back from the test drive, and can confirm. Cylinder deactivation will not be used on the 2021 F-150 V8s or any other powertrain unless the truck goes into a “limp” mode for overheating.
Thank you for asking that question while you were at your test drive! And that is good news, in my opinion.

Hello if any of these can be answered I would be very appreciative.

I ordered the platinum v8 701 tow technology off road

1-why is tow technology not compatible with tow mirrors ?

2- 2kw pro power on board not compatible with rear under seat storage ? How big is the box/ inverter that it can't fit ? Any info or pictures please

3- I could only get the 3.31 axel with the v8 why? and will there be a later available v8 with 3.55

4- Any date on when we can see the max recline seats delivered? Canada

5- Is there a charging pad on the top pocket above the center console screen dash area or USB?

6- Dose the speed of the truck get projected on the dash like some Ford vehicles? If so what trim

Thank you
in response to question #6, there is no heads up display on the 2021 F-150s. All of the information is presented on the 12” screen on the instrument panel (behind the steering wheel).

For those interested in ProPower with a gasoline only engine with the lockable second row under seat storage, here are some photos of what the battery/inverter looks like in the cab. Hence, why it’s either one or the other. This was a King Ranch model with the 5.0 V8

Kyle, did you take any pictures of the interior of the KR? I thought Ford did a great job with the leather color and interior on that model. Much better looking in person, and not nearly as orange as previous years'.

It figures you have a KR at your test drive and they didn't at mine. Had a Platinum, Limited and Lariat.

Here are some answers from questions posted I found out.

The powerboost can take off on battery only, it just won't go like that for miles. It does assist at speed when a load occurs like going up hill.

Powerboost on takeoff uses the hybrid motion and batter pack to engage the engine and it was a very smooth transition.

Max recline seats do have the massage feature and the passanger seat can lay all the way down while driving. They did not know when they will show up for production.

The ones with the max recline are the ones that have that larger pillow at the shoulder level.

Propower for the hybrid does turn on and off as needed to charge the battery. The 30 hour estimate for the 7.2 kw generator is at full load the entire 30 hours. If you are not using full load then the time is much longer depending on consumption.

I can not beleive they had set this event up in such a congested area as Atlanta. I did drive the powerboost and did get a chance to romp on it for a short while. I wish it was more rural so I could have gotten longer burst out of it before having to slow down.

All I can say is I am very happy I ordered the powerboost!(and I own a Dodge Hell Cat too). I did not make my Ford rep very happy but I had to get some info out of this trip.

The speedo display is excellent

The 18 speaker system is way better than my 18 KR, There are 2 speakers in each headrest, one above each front seat in the roof and like 6 up front in the dash area. It had a real good sound coming from every direction.

There is a camera in the rear break light that shows the bed of the truck. It's to monitor your load if you are hauling something.

Here are some photos I took at the event.

Oh man! only 1136lbs payload on a lariat? thats really low. I might have to reconsider my build now.... do you know if this one had powerboost?

Thanks for posting the stickers from the PowerBoost.

Axles ratings are interesting: 3900+4150 = 8050 lbs vs the 7350 lbs GVWR. 700 lbs seems like a lot of margin between the axles and the GVWR.....

You think it might be because the battery pack and inverter sits right in front of the rear axle?
