Oddly enough, mine eventually just went away. Leads me to believe that it may in fact be residual glue?
Came to add, I havent given my truck a proper wash in a while, but while clearing ice off I noticed the faded appearance was almost not noticable or actually gone now. Picked mine up late June 2021 and had the white residue within a month. I'll have to try and remember to look closer when I get better weather.

Mine just started within the last month. Garage kept 95% of the time. Ordered Feb. 2021. Delivered May 2021 and did not sit before delivery.

Truck is three months old and about two weeks ago this started to show up. Tried to wash and scrub the area but not sure what else to do?

My 22 has the same exact blemish/adhesive residual. I may try some contractor adhesive remover tomorrow. I'll let you know of my results.

Was anybody able to get this resolved? I have a ‘22 I purchased in July. The white spots were present from day one but now the trim seems to be melting/deteriorating. It is also happening to my window trim as well.

My white spots went away after a few more washes. Some of yours looks like damage but I hard to tell.

It defiantly looks like that plastic is deteriorating, I would check with the dealer about a possible warranty on that. The white spots are one thing, but you literally have holes in the plastic forming.

Something is for sure going on. I’d own it if it was self-inflicted damage but I don’t know hot to replicate what’s currently happening to it. I have an appointment scheduled for 02/08 but was trying to gather some resources to ensure they’ll replace it in case they want to fight me on it.

Same exact issue with my March '22 99% garaged KR.

Ford needs to change suppliers.

Mine didn't take much longer before it changed to same color as the plastics around it. I think someone stated it might have been glue residue? Seemed like a logical answer to me. Suggest using a light but firm brush and soap to see if it comes clean. May take a couple washes. Good luck.

So I’ve had this issue on my ‘23 since purchase, but as referenced earlier in this thread, I bought some ceramic trim coating:

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00NR8VJP...abc_E7BQVTV6GFJ64WZCBJNJ?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

Of course, the door trim and cowl looked awesome upon initial application, but usually the problem returns after several rains and or washes over the next month or so.

However, using the ceramic trim this is how things look now after initial application back in August. I did have one spot that I touched up back in September- but I think that was my fault as I was averse to getting it on the paint…. You can actually see a small area at the bottom of the 2nd picture that I missed because of this.
Oh, and be careful to keep it off the glass or other surfaces- I got a little smear above the cowl on the windshield and I still can’t get it off. I guess that’s a good thing- just be careful. A little pricey, but a little goes a long way. I’m pretty impressed:
