I know this is a touchy topic for some folks in here, but its my money to waste so I'll ask anyway.
What CAI setups are available for the 2021 5.0 and will setups from the 19-20 model years work? Out of the available CAI, is there any reason why one would pay $500+ for the Roush over the $300 for the S&B or any other brand?

I have AFE for now, this one for a 2020needed to be modded slightly, but they have redesigned it for the 21’s and it’s currently going to production. The new one will haVe a bigger window over the filter

I'm not sure there are a lot of options out there right now for the 5.0. I ran the S&B on my raptor and liked it.

Accoding to AFE site, 10-15 HP gains.....I'll take it!

Ready to add a CAI here also but not many to choose from. Roush is actually selling their 2020 5.0 CAI for the 2021's with nothing more than a vacuum cap to plug one of the 2 inlets on the tube running from the air box!
If that's the case, it would seen any 2020 CAI (5.0) would work with nothing more than plugging one of the inlets.
Personally don't care for the Roush, as there is a gap between the airbox and tube, allowing "HOT" air into the "COLD" air box?

Anyways, leaning hard towards the S and B here also and have spoken with them, asking what their return policy is in case I buy their 2020 version and pull the Roush trick on it and it doesn't work....don't know why it wouldn't!

Received an email yesterday from S and B , stating they should have an F150 5.0 in soon to start fitment for a 2021 cai!
Guess the 5.0's are hard to come by in California....

It seems that Roush, S&B, and PMAS are all running the 2020 models as 2021 models with merely a cap for one of the inlets.
I ended up getting a PMAS as it uses the factory lower and air inlet. Can always buy the aftermarket AFe larger inlet for more forced outside air.

I have read enough negative postings and articles about them that I think if there are gains they are miniscule. I'm happy with premium gas and Sport mode when I feel frisky.

I haven’t seen any negative posts/articles on CAI’s aside from opinions by those who don’t like
the added under hood noise. For the cost, a proven 10-15hp with zero tuning isn’t a bad deal I wouldn’t think. Per dollar it’s effectively a more efficient power adder than adding a supercharger.

I always been a fan of Airaid. So I'm waiting for their version. I have it on my mustang and fusion.

Installed a S&B intake today on my 2021 5.0, easy install just capped the one port.
Sounds great and a noticeable improvement in throttle response, not saying it made huge hp gains, but it definitely made a difference!
Worth the purchase!!!

Ordered the Roush. Really wanted the S and B. When I spoke with them, explaining Roush was just capping one of the inlets (also supplying the cap) on their 15-20 CAI, they said they couldn't reccomend the same for theirs, so I ordered the Roush.
They also asked me if I were in their area, somewhere in CA...they needed a 5.0 to do some research for a 21 CAI?
Really? You can't, at least, rent a vehicle to do research , test fitments?
Anyways, was a toss up between the 2 and Roush won out!
