I wonder if any company is going to make a trombone loop valved exhaust for the f150. I’m trying to have a quiet powerboost for generator mode but have that twin turbo v6 grr on the streets.

Alright so I had it installed yesterday, the stock exhaust came out in one piece as we couldn't get one section off. The Cobb exhaust installed easily without hassle, 15 min. on a lift and you are on your way. As of now I am still not sure how I feel about the exhaust, maybe I am just getting old and love the quiet sounds of the F-150. But the exhaust is not bad, it sounds great and isn't noticeable above 60 mph. At low speeds however you can hear the growl. As expected there is really no difference in performance, but the exhaust is lighter than the stock one. First off, thank you for putting this together.

It sounds more 'throat'-ier for sure. And windows up wont matter, I think Ford did a pretty good job for sound insulation (minus the back window)
