Curious to see if anyone has wired and installed a set of Christmas lights in their 14th gens yet?

If you have, post them! —Would love to see your setups and how you powered them on while driving! 🎄

I was thinking about this also. I've never put lights on a vehicle for Christmas but for some reason was thinking about it this year.

Not sure what the laws are regarding adding Christmas lights to a vehicle, but ignoring that, if you have a Powerboost or have the Pro Power Onboard option couldn't you just plug the lights into the outlet in the bed. Of course with the Pro Power the lights would only work while it is running. Maybe string a set of lights around the top of the bedrails.

Probably isn't any laws on it, since it really hasn't been a thing...then again, if you notice the Xmas coca-cola trucks, all light up...I'm pretty sure you are ok.

I hadn't even thought about it until I read the thread title...now I'm curious...might be a weekend project lol. If I get ambitious and try it out, I'll be sure to post.

Thinking of adding a set too before Christmas comes, I used to do it on my previous F-150s by using a inverter that was installed inside the truck then just wire it out through the vent behind the rear seat, but I’m not sure about these trucks, especially those equipped with the 2.4kw and 7.2kw? Wonder if the Pro Power generator mode will even allow it to power on while the truck is in motion?

Highly doubt they’ll be laws on it specifically, maybe to red and blue lights but even that’s reaching unless you have a grinch pulling you over lol. But I was wondering the same thing with the Pro Power as well. Not sure if it allows you to use it while the truck is moving though, I haven’t personally tried it out yet.

The power does work in motion. There's a few people who power their campers while in tow.

Oh perfect! Something we can experiment with, I’ll give this a try.

you know whats funny, until this post i didnt think anything of this. but with the outlet in the back i'm thinking of throwing some around the bed now. some multi colored leds along the bed rails would be kinda neat.

Simple set up! Just plug them in the outlet in the back seat!!

Another good option, although I am almost certain if I decorated my truck with Christmas lights I would get pulled over around here.

I hadn't really thought about it before, but now I'm kind of considering this:

Good idea! How did you manage to make them stick/hang without falling/banging around?
