I'm at the point where if I could get the extended warranty coverage for my 2019 I might keep it a couple extra years. Past the 41 month mark makes it hard to get that now, but in hindsight my hope to have traded it in for the '22 by now was pure ignorance that we wouldn't enter another huge chip hold. Guess I won't make the mistake of not getting the extended warranty again, at least by the 36mo/36k mark..54 days in "In production" status. This is ridiculous. I'm losing my patience by the day with not having a vehicle, and the updates provided by Ford are complete nonsense. There is NO reason that they can't provide some kind of estimate when it will get to my dealer.
I'm at the point where I am regretting not keeping my 2019 and driving it for a few years.
Well. The thread dates keep growing. Changing thread dateWell didn’t realize this thread was on here. As of last week I thought my order was progressing nicely.
702a Platinum PB.
Blend date 9/15
In production 9/16
So I was expecting to get next the built email soon. But on a hunch I messaged ford and they told me my order is on a “micro chip factory hold” but nothing official email from Ford yet.
Of course I didn’t think that was a problem as it looks like I have a long list of modules on the Motorcraft as built site.
And it continues
It’s like farting into the wind and hoping it doesn’t blow back at you.I have a blend of 9/8 so add me to the list. I see the vehicle count in trac keeps going up. I was hoping having a V8 would have helped but it didn’t.
I just read that myself. I didn't think I had anymore confidence to be lost for Ford. I was wrong.
It doesn't. Last time I checked with my dealer, that date for me was Sept. 4th. Still not built. When I pushed Ford Chat about the dates, they said all that means is there should be another update available by then. Good luck though!I'm hoping this means production will be complete by 10/3
I wouldn't rule it out but I don't know. But we did see the hood up on a truck in a drone shot and I also noticed trucks with missing tailgates in another drone shot. If we get another drone shot of a guy riding around in a golf cart with a small trailer of parts then our question will be answered I thinkAnyone know what the process is to get off of chip hold?
I assume they are not installing the parts out in the sea of trucks, do they bring the truck back to the plant to install the parts then run thru programming, calibration, and qa?
I just copied and pasted all the lines of text into excelIs there a quick way to count the lines of as-built data? I tried importing it into Excel, but couldn't properly format the .ab file to list.
