Anybody figure out how to shut the alert off on the screen when you shut the truck off? It flashes this every time I shut it off. At first I thought it was a sensor in the rear seat sensing a bag I had on it. Then I removed the bag and it did the same thing. I understand the intent, but like everything else, you should be able to toggle it off and on.

Yeah it’s in your settings. I’m trying to remember off the top of my, I think settings-vehicle-general. If not there I know it’s in there. I turned that off as soon as could.

Awesome! I'll keep searching. Good to know it can be shut off.

It is Settings-Vehicle-Rear occupant alert. Should be the first item. It also tells you it will ask sometime later if you still want it off.

Great! Thanks. I'll take care of that first thing in the morning.

Definitely going to have to turn that off on mine. It’s a damn shame this has to be a company and/or government mandated thing!

The first I do when I get any new truck, turn off the annoying reminders. It’s usually just the seat belt reminder, but this is the first truck this has the occupant reminder too.

Having said that, I do like that this truck has the ablitly to see actual clicked seat belts. No more fooling daddy, I know now! ? It’s not the occupant reminder, it’s something different, and I don’t think you can turn the future off, but I like it.
