Hi All,

Fairly new here as I was on that other forum with my 2016 TVS powered F150 Lariat. Was a cool build but looking to take the next step this time around. I name all my vehicles and this one is Charlotte due to there being a spider web (and spider) in the rear slider when I went to pick it up. Truck is Tri-coat white with the black interior

Live in Ottawa, Canada and have never documented my builds but think I will this time around. I lower my 4x4 trucks and yes they do get used as a truck mostly towing my toys.

Thought I’d start by sharing parts that have arrived, what is in transit and what is planned next.

Arrived:
- Corsa catback, rear exit instead of side this time due to traction bars
- 170deg thermostat
- Ridetech lowering kit
- Ridetech sway bar
- Ridetech Airbags
- Ridetech traction bars
- Ford OE style fender flares
- Ford rear spoiler / wing
- Bedrug
- Bakflip F1 tonneau cover

In Transit (shipped but not arrived):
- Whipple Stage 2 supercharger kit (red, stuck at customs)
- P3 Gauges vent mounted gauge with analog boost sensor
- 2 sets of custom 22” forged wheels (one winter, one summer)
- Airlift WirelessOne compressor

Planned:
- All chrome removed and paint matched
- Tint (obviously)
- Powder coat calipers till brakes wear out, then BBK
- Paint match Headlights, Tails, Fogs
- Custom front lower valance, side skirts and rear diffuser

If anyone is local to Ottawa and does custom lights or sheet metal / carbon fibre work I will be looking. May tackle myself but would rather outsource to someone more experienced.

if I’m missing something obvious from my build let me know.

Let the games begin in about 2 weeks,
Brad

Nice to see a local build! Will have to check it out sometime!

There are a few of us from the Ottawa area on here (I'm out in Kemptville). Mike @ No Limits Autoparts in Winchester may have fabricator hookups to help with the sheet metal/carbon fiber stuff.

Good luck!

Sorry for being late here, work has been insane.

wheels arrived and pretty well every part. Finishing up the flip kit, air bags, traction bars and sway bar today. Need to adjust front coilovers as they are too low.

will send up some pics today / tomorrow with the old wheels from my last truck. More aggressive offset on new wheels won’t look right till the flares are on so using these as a stop gap. Hoping over next week or two to finish cosmetics (outside of custom work) then on goes the blower.

No exterior pics as it was dark but will put them up. Here is all the rear suspension which includes Ridetech flip kit, traction bars, sway bar, air bags and headlight relocation bracket. Pretty seamless install.

Will post exterior pics soon but fender gap is even all the way around.

Any of you Ottawa guys know a wheel shop you’d trust mounting fairly expensive forged wheels and not marring them?

Actual wheels which arrived, different wheels for summer and winter. I like to have two different but similar looks For the seasons.

This is my winter setup 22x9.5 forged:

This will be the summers, same 22x9.5:

2022 F-150 Platinum on order
Can't wait to see outside pictures. Rear suspension is looking great.

I ordered Ridetech as well, I'm hoping it rides better than the VAS kit I had on my 2013.
I have not decided on the traction bars (likely going to order those) and the airbags. If I need airbags I'm going to go with the BWoody kit. I hope to be able to install my kit in the next month.
Would you mind posting some pictures of the front kit?

@Flash69
if you would like to chat Pre-install let me know (PM and I’ll shoot you my number). I’ve adjusted 3 times now including install to get what I want (alignment each time). Rear dropped substantially more than 6” from stock on lowest setting and I slowly tweaked.

At suggested settings front automatic valence would rub occasionally at highway speeds on uneven roads. It’s removed now but still not enough travel for my liking and I have had nothing but lowered trucks since 2004.

4.5” on front coilovers, 15 clicks from full soft on front. 3rd hole on rear shackles with 20lbs in airbags and 1/8” gap on floating traction bars seems to be my happy place. 10 clicks from soft also with sway bar in rear.

I’ll get some pics so you can see front, rear, etc.
