Hi all,

Not sure if it’s just me, but the digital gauge cluster is super bright at night. I can dial back the cluster brightness with the buttons next to the steering column, but if I turn the cluster brightness down to where I want it, then all the controls in the cabin are really dim. I’ve figured out how to adjust the sync screen brightness by itself, no issues there. But is there a way to change the cluster brightness relative to the backlighting of all the controls? Maybe with Forescan?

TIA

Have you tried using calm view? I’ve found that while it doesn’t change the brightness per se, the peripheral fading of the screen background lowers the light. I have nighttime light sensitivity myself, and this has helped considerably. It’s certainly better than my 2018 F150. I hated how bright that screen was, and the button to turn sync screen off was buried in the settings menu. Now it’s a button on the dash. The auto light adjust is also a huge help (thank you Ford).

ihad a Saab years ago with a “night panel” button that dimmed everything but speedometer and gas gauge. I’m always so amazed that isn’t a more standard feature in cars. Anyway - hopefully someone can chime in with more.
