Center console lid question

On my 2023 Platinum, the center console lid cover falls down when I open it and don't hold it. I got it replaced under warranty for a separate issue and now it stays up when open without me holding it.

On my 2023 Platinum, the center console lid cover falls down when I open it and don't hold it. I got it replaced under warranty for a separate issue and now it stays up when open without me holding it.

I wish my dealer would have agreed to address mine. I was told that was by design. I told them how full of $#!+ they are.

Dealer only replaced my center console because it had some scratches on the lid cover leather when I purchased the truck new in Januray 2024; it took them a year to get the new center console lid in, but I'm glad it did because this appears to be a revised part that stays up when open.
