For those of you who listen to Jerry Reynolds on the radio, he posted his Powerboost review.

Very cursory review... but his gas calculations are interesting.

He obviously doesn't live in California with $4.50/gal gas! Here, the savings is more like $560/year... using his numbers for everything but gas price. So the recovery point for the cost of the powerboost upgrade is more like 4 1/2 years.

But, like he mentions, there are all the other positives (HP, torque, generator, etc), that make it less about that gas mileage. :)

It seemed some of the "review" was a regurgitation of Ford verbiage. And there was one complete error. He said the 2.0Kw generator is the base generator for the Power Boost. In fact, the 2.0Kw is an option on most NON Power Boost.

The 2.4Kw is the standard generator on the Power Boost.
