Carplay overrides everything on startup...

I thought it was my imagination at first but every time I get into my truck, it ALWAYS switches to Apple CarPlay for the audio. Even if I was listening to XM Radio or a regular radio station when I shut down the vehicle... and it seems to randomly pick the SOURCE within CarPlay, sometimes it is Spotify, then other times it might be I-Heart-Radio. It'll start up with the right audio source, but after Carplay connects (it takes a few seconds) sync switches over to carplay for the audio.

Has anyone else noticed this? Any idea how to prevent this from happening?

Having the same issue. It just recently started this strange behavior.. typically I am listening to XM... Turn the truck off and when I start back up later I may get XM... maybe not.

you are not alone. mine has been doing it too.
the weirdest part is that it’s streaming the FM radio station I listen to in the car.

Exactly!!! That's what mine does too... but I'm old, and it's an AM station!

this may be an apple thing. are you running the ios 15.3 beta?
