@TN150Plat Is that your truck? I saw it on the Akin's IG a couple days ago. Super clean looking.

Got mine back from the shop today from installing the Fox/Roush kit, Fuel wheels and Toyo AT's. Great ride and very quiet. Those pics are making me want to custom paint everything.

@ddsag09 nice pic on the shoes. It’s the same level, wheel and tire combo I am looking to add. How did the set up affect your mpg with the PB?

Did you end up dechroming or painting any of the chrome?

Now that you've had them a while, any insights on performance and fuel economy impacts with the powerboost?
Honestly, not really. I only had ~500 miles on truck when I switched the tires out, then I hit a deer and didn't have the truck for 60 days, and now I've had it back for about a month. Just hit 2k total miles today. I'm getting 19-20mpg overall but also seems like the truck is getting slightly better mpg as it breaks in / I get better at maximizing the electric (@Trukbed article on how to drive helped).

I've had a few trips with great MPG, 25-31mpg, and others where I'm in the teens. Long story short, its hard to say how much of an impact the tires alone have had on the mpg. I'd assume 1-2mpg hit, but that isn't based on anything scientific. I also live in Denver, so I think the altitude and the "winter fuel" may be affecting the numbers as well.

The K02's were like 10-15lbs heavier each than the stock tires I believe, so it has to make *some* sort of impact.

Awesome! I've been contemplating going with the 275/65R20 vs 275/60R20. I didn't want to completely kill my mileage (younger me could care less) and not stray too far away from the stock experience (I find the ride and drive great on the 21's).

You'd probably be fine with the 275/60 size, if you are only upgrading for looks. I went with the 275/65 because I wanted that additional sidewall here in CO when I go camping / off road.

Here is the elusive 500a Lariat, also a 4x2. I've had my Lariat for 2 weeks, first good cleaning today. No plans on leveling, changing wheels, or tires.

Love that setup - what model LEER topper is that? Did the roof rack rails come pre-installed in the topper or did you put them on after?

Leer 100XR M7 Grey
Windoor/sliders (windows)
Removable Front slider window
Add on: Track Rails

Around $3250 for that Camper shell and install

Thanks! Do the track rails they added work with a specific brand of aftermarket rack system (e.g., Yakima or Thule?).

Would be interested in more pictures showing ground clearance and such around the truck with removing the rear block as opposed to putting a leveling kit.

So it comes pre-painted?

Are you using it as a camping rig? I want a topper and a platform in the bed to sleep on, with storage underneath.

The track rails are an industry standard. Works for both Thule and Yakima. I’ve had three trucks now with the same rails. LEER and Snugtop will build the topper from scratch once ordered and they will install the rails if requested. It is just another line item charge. Then you head to your local outdoor store (REI in my case) and grab whatever crossbars, feet, and landing pads you need for your specific gear.

I use the topper for gear storage and dogs. I tow a medium sized camper. 19 footer. The topper is nice for several reasons but the primary use is for dogs.

I’ve seen custom stuff done where there are drawers that pull out underneath a platform that holds a nice pad for sleeping on top. Definitely would work.

just a stupid 1.25” block that does not need to be there. The Tremors and Rangers look absolutely ridiculous, too. Both have 2 inch blocks. Took my local 4x4 shop an hour to pull it out and give me new u-bolts. Best $100 I’ll spend on this truck. Still a small but now reasonable take. It only took 1.25 inches out of the wheel well clearance which I don’t need.

I’ll most likely never place 1500lbs of crap in my bed, esp now with a camper shell.
What pics would you like?
