Anyone figure out how to track our trucks via the trains? Mine says it’s on CN. Looking at local dealers trucks it takes anywhere from 11-16 days to get from Dearborn to SK.

My dealer kept me up to date almost every day as to the location of my truck once it left Dearborn. Yours should be able to do the same.

Dearborn Build (detroit).
this might be good for you, the Dearborn plant continues to build (complete trucks for shipment), but a slower pace. KC still has not resumed production after being down for 6 weeks. The schedule for KC restart is allegedly next Monday 14 June, but apparently also at a reduced build rate.

Just wondering from those here who have received their trucks recently, what kid of delivery times are we talking about these days?

Specifically I am interested in what I should expect for a typical shipping time from KC to S. Ontario… I’m hoping my 7/19 build date holds so hoping to get the truck by first week of Aug? Realistic or dreaming in technicolor?

I am wondering if anyone else’s tracker is stuck on awaiting shipping? This is my second order and the first one went straight from produced to built so I was wondering if this is happening now.
Palsapp also not updating just showing pending. Might just be a Canadian issue that they can’t be tracked / don’t update or something?


Edit: truck built 6/23 and been awaiting shipping for 4 days. It is built in Dearborn and I am outside the GTA so Not to far for it to travel

There seem to be a number of variables (from various conversation in this forum).

For us in Ontario, there seems to be 2 means of delivery. Luckily for you it seems Dearborn builds generally come here via convoy (transport truck delivery), whereas my KC build seems to usually come via rail, then locally via convoy.

In either scenario, it would make sense to wait for a full load to be generated before dispatch, so that may be your wait. I may be in for a longer wait, since a railcar or two would hold a fair number of trucks.

Finally, I have read that there is a shortage of truck drivers, at least in the US… although I’m not sure that it’s still an issue.

Palsapp updated today so I went to check the dealers yard and the truck has arrived, I am wondering how long it usually takes them to get the vehicle ready to go.
No rust that I noticed but unfortunately there’s some damage on the bumper, fenders and a door (just some scratches) and I am wondering if dealer is supposed to fix that?
Took it only 8 days to get to Winkler, Manitoba from Dearborn plant.

did Palsapp update you constantly or just went from pending to delivered? Curious where yours was built and how long it took to go from awaiting shipment to in transit?

mine just went from pending to delivered, it was built at Dearborn plant on 19th, shipped on the 20th and delivered to dealer today.

Was hoping to see if other Manitoba orders were moving, as it might mean that mine may make some progress even if not showing any on the tracker. Doesn't seem like that's the case.
My Mar. 31 order built may 15th is still stuck in purgatory.

Nope. Just a nicely equipped XLT SCREW 302A; Sport; FX4; 360 Cameras; 3.5L Ecoboost.

Dealer finally admitted it was stuck and not shipping anytime soon. Like a few others have mentioned on this forum, my dealer offered put in a new order and will honour the incentives/price from when i ordered in March. Was hoping Truck would arrive for this summer, or at least for a camping trip in August. How fast yours shipped makes me think there is still a little time left.

Just curious, did it say "Rail" under method of transport on the window sticker?

Tracker shows a production date of June.22nd and a shipping date of June.25th. ETA 07/30, however Palsapp only shows my VIN as pending still.

my vin updated on palsapp only to delivered status and never been “shipped” there, went from pending to delivered.
