Sad time to be a Canuck. Since you live in Vancouver, you should be able to get one of the border addresses which people use for getting packages from the US. I've heard on other forums of people using that as the US address.

For options in Canada, I emailed Mainland ford in Surrey and they came out with the best quote. Petrieford in Kingston, ON was next, however they both were double of what I was getting in the US.

Most people opt for PremiumCare package with $100 deductible. Check up Granger Ford or flood ford online and you will get the quote for what it is in the US. Canada will usually be double that.

Don't believe the first quote they give you in Canada. Tell them your dealership is giving you a much better price and see if they come down. You'll be surprised by how much they are willing to come down. $700-900 easily in some cases. But final price was always at least double of US even after the exchange rate.
Thanks for the insights!

I reached out to Petrie and they emailed me back after multiple attempts and then never followed up with any of my requests. Oh well!

The US address thing seems appealing. I will track that down.

This is an old thread but I will post this so it shows up when people are searching.
I am still driving a 2014 Ford Escape which I bought in Vancouver, but is covered by the Ford ESP warranty purchased from the US.
I bought it online from Lombard Ford; they have been excellent to deal with. They were actively advertising to Canadians. My 7-year warranty ended in 2022, and they sent me an email offering to renew it, so I am covered until 2026.
At the price I paid it is totally worth it.

You need to have a US address, but that is super easy and doesn't cost anything to set up: there are tons of US companies that will receive mail for Canadians: at Blaine, the border town south of Vancouver, for example, there are probably 15 different mail places whereCanadians do online shopping and then drive down to pick up their packages.
I use "Security Mail Services" but there are hundreds of such companies all across the border.

Parents live in Florida 6 months out of the year, is there documents that get sent to the US address? I will be heading down there next month, maybe I should stop in at one of the dealers and see what they can offer, does it matter if I'm out of warranty now?

Hey there... Did you end up getting the ESP from the US? Buying a F150 now and local dealer quoted me $4700 CAD plus tax for 7 year / 120,000. I just went on a few US sites I've seen mentioned... Grainger Ford 7y/125,000 is $2,250 USD (when I put Michigan in the location), and Lombard Ford and Zeigler Ford was $2,495 USD same term.

My parents have a place in Florida. When I put FLA as the location the for Lombard and Ziegler (Grainger doesn't offer), the price is $4,750 USD.

So if your plan cost is determined by your "US Address" then I'm better off going with the local dealer here in Canada.

Florida has some law that stops getting ESP out of state.. Any other US address will work for Granger.

Yah thanks. I did the comment from Kanuck.

Just went through the 'checkout' on Grainger site. Seems okay.

Of course the two people who would be easiest to use the address are in Florida and California, the two states with no outside ESP allowed!
