Is there a way with forscan to change max speed limit. My truck speed limit cut's out at 105mph. Does anyone know if changes can be made in the IPC to increase max speed?

Wanna race on that?F-150's are not race cars.
My truck runs perfect at 95 to 100 mph down the freeway but there is a point where it is time to choose a completely different platform or make major modifications to your current truck to avoid having a life changing situation make an appearance by pushing something past it's designed parameters.Wanna race on that?
I maxed my truck out to 105 or whatever the max is and I did not enjoy it. That's a shit ton of weight flying down the road without the maneuverability of a race car.Might be time to buy a car instead with tires rated for higher speeds, son. F-150's are not race cars.
I know that tuners can remove speed limiting , Ive read that if you want to go 125+ the drive line needs to be upgraded,Is there a way with forscan to change max speed limit. My truck speed limit cut's out at 105mph. Does anyone know if changes can be made in the IPC to increase max speed?
I'm with ya there! my 91 ranger super cab out handled my 05 mustang gt, was major disappointment my 18 f150 handles amazingly well for 5k, ive runaway from a few Audis and Mercs on twisty roads, it also has the power to keep em from catching me though I had to work hard to stay with a RT dodge challenger its a bunch of fun! I now have a roush 01 mustang gt stock 2v engine with bolt ons that was set up for Bondurant driving school it does out handle the f150 and will pull it above 70My F150 handles better than my 1999 Mustang GT, and the 5 speed GT went 145 MPH.
Just saying.
You guys are missing the point, it's not about how well it handles, it's about the tires. The faster you go, the hotter the side walls get, no way around that its just physics. Truck tires are not rated for that kind of heat, which can lead to a blowout, which is no fun at 100+ mph. Lots of people thing speed ratings (Z, W, Y, etc) are about stickiness but they not, they are about ability to handle heat.
