Can 360-degree cameras serve as a dashcam?

As the subject states, can the OEM 360 degree cameras capture and preserve video as a dash-cam does? I don't have any, and have no clue. If not set up that way from the factory but could be adapted, what's required?

Oops. Never mind. Asked and answered.

I figured as much but it doesn't hurt to ask.
I was hoping for the 12in screen not a little tiny phone to watch the video on if it was ever needed in an accident.
