First post and thanks for the add to the site. Hope it is in the right spot.
I'll be buying a 2022 F-150 Lariat. It comes with a Canadian window sticker (in French no less). Which means I can't really make much sense of it, but it does indicate in English, the final build site was "Dearborn", so I guess it was US built for the Montreal market. Well, it is now in Florida and only has 14,000 miles and is in what seems to be awesome condition. I could not find anything wrong with it. It has the Sport pkg and most of the Bluecruise features, but without the actual self-driving, such as adaptive cruise, adaptive steering, lane centering/keeping, BLIS, 360 camera, etc. About 1.5 years ago, we sold our 2017 King Ranch dually when we traded from a big 5th wheel to a motorhome...just couldn't justify keeping the dually, but I LOVED that truck. It had, I believe, every single option that was available to it, but for the bed ramps. I am ecstatic to be getting back in a blue oval truck, even if it's only the dually's little bro.
Some questions that I have:
1) any chance of getting a new window sticker but in English? If so, who do I connect with if you know?
2) any reason to think the remaining warranties will not be honored in the US? (I called a couple of Ford dealers and they didn't think it would be an issue, but they weren't "positive"...go figure.
3) I pick it up tomorrow, but thought I'd ask this as it is an ongoing topic...since it appears adaptive headlights have been in Canada as far back as 2021, might this truck have this feature? I guess I'll know when I first drive it at night.
4) anything else I should be aware of due to it being a Canadian marketed truck and that would be nice to be aware of and how it impacts in the US.
