Build question for performance 4x4 on single cab

So I am about to have to do a vin swap with the dealer on my new 21 with <500 miles due to trans issue so I'm correcting any things I wanted to change this time. Going from single cab 4x4 5.0 to

I'm thinking of going xlt mid with 5.0 velocity blue and going 2wd vs the 4 since it doesn't come with 4a


Idk what to do though as I like having the options but not needed if I can't launch in AWD it's just extra weight

Is it gonna be a drag truck? Don’t see why you can’t launch in 4Hi. Would definitely improve your 60ft

Most of what Ive seen online and practiced is launch in 4H with elocker on then switch to 2H after 60 foot. Maybe 4A is better front pull, less wear and tear etc, I don't know. Like to hear more responses. Watch Mizer brothers too.
