I remember watching videos of the new gen pre-production Tundra and how the vortex generators and all that jazz were supposed to eliminate debris flying in the truck with that window down. Wonder how true that isThey should have saved all their cash on developing a new tailgate, and made the rear window roll down like my old Tundra.
It was great, used it all the time.
And if your bed was full of leaves or debris, and your interior and dash were too clean, you could roll it down and all the crap in the bed would blow right in.

I still loved the feature. The trick was to make sure the bed was clean, or just drive it down the road a bit with the window up and let the stuff blow out before dropping the rear window.I remember watching videos of the new gen pre-production Tundra and how the vortex generators and all that jazz were supposed to eliminate debris flying in the truck with that window down. Opinions, like requirements, vary....That’s absolutely hilarious
Ugh, that ostentatious crap was one reason I bought a job 1 platinum, no stupid tailgate vajazzle or other… I don’t need anyone knowing my truck is $110k sticker on the daily. To the best of my knowledge, no trim has the tail gate appliqué anymore. Which is a real shame, it’s honestly one of the biggest selling points for me personally for a plat over a lariat
You could have bought a job2/3/4 with the same result lolUgh, that ostentatious crap was one reason I bought a job 1 platinum, no stupid tailgate vajazzle or other… I don’t need anyone knowing my truck is $110k sticker on the daily.

I'm guessing you also removed the gawdy letters from the hood? That's the first thing I would've done too.Ugh, that ostentatious crap was one reason I bought a job 1 platinum, no stupid tailgate vajazzle or other… I don’t need anyone knowing my truck is $110k sticker on the daily.
Had the truck one day then left town (traveling) for business, haven’t done a thing, but ya, that might be an idea. The hood letters aren’t giant, so they don’t bother me.I'm guessing you also removed the gawdy letters from the hood? That's the first thing I would've done too.
That wasn’t known at the time, as job 2’s have a tailgate option, but is that still the case? After that, probably not an option, I bet people have to take the wannabe GM tailgate. The 703a is the “all the options” model. You could have bought a job2/3/4 with the same result lol
Who'd a thought we get HUD with an F150? I'm loving it....Heads up display and the multi-contour seats are both "standard" as part of the King Ranch trim level package so they wouldn't be listed separately on the window sticker.
I love going to dealers and explaining what features are on what models. Kinda sad.I doubt the dealer lied. They just don't take the time to learn what they are selling anymore. Most people on this board are way more knowledgeable about F-150s than 98% of the salesmen on the lots.
On your HUD do you see turn by turn navigation using Waze?Who'd a thought we get HUD with an F150? I'm loving it....
