Those are nice! Reminds me a little of the wagon wheels of the 70's. My dad had them on his truck and they looked fantastic!
We drew inspiration from the classic Canonica Safari wheels but I definitely see the similarity also in the wagon wheels. (y)

How do they hold up in cold Canadian winters?

Do they hold up against road salt / brine?

Have you done any cold weather testing yet?

If not, feel free to send me a set of black 20's to test out for you!

I'll report back what I find....:D

Our Vivid Titanium has an extra layer of finish on it which the factory refers to as 'Winter Clear'.

Winter Clear is a special clear that's 18% thicker than standard clear mostly used by original equipment manufacturers and rarely used in the aftermarket wheel industry.

We opted for this finish specifically for our Export customers that are in regions that expect heavy snow.

Here are the Vivid Titaniums on my Tundra

Hey Team,

So we have some news regarding our 17x8.5 fitment on F150s. So as per our drawings our 17" Alpine wheels will clear the calipers however We have yet to test this on an actual truck.

@H4ppyB34r has opted to help us with this and is a perfect candidate as he not only owns a 2017 but also has a 2022 F150 and is going to test fit on both. We're sending him out a wheel today and he's going to keep us posted on the fitment.

Thank you @H4ppyB34r - We Greatly Appreciate it!

Hey guys, I have good news, and maybe some for the delayed gratification crowd too.

The wheels fit my HDPP with max tow 2022 just fine, as well as the 2017 with max tow.

I'm still waiting for my tires to show up, so I can get it mounted and balanced, to make sure that it clears the weights as well. Should have a 35x12.5 BFG KO2 here later this week.

0 offset on these should be just fine, my current +18 offset Method 18x9 has weights mounted all the way on the inside and it clears with plenty of space.

Pictures attached, including the current Method 314s.

Thank you so much for the feedback. I recall in my retails days we had wheels fit so tightly that at times we'd have to resort to only using .025oz wheel weights. But they also make 0.50ox low profiles these days that most shops have.

Can't wait to see the final build and thanks again for sharing you experience.

Ok, so one of 285\75R17 BFG KO2s showed up, and I had it mounted and "balanced"

For the TL;DR crowd: they clear the calipers just fine.

My buddy at discount tire walks up and said "we have a problem". He knew I was testing for clearance and as it turns out, this wheel and tire did not need ANY weight to balance out. I thought they would for sure need lots, because my 35x12.5R18s needed 6-8 per wheel.

He did it himself a second time to make sure.

We put on a few weights where they would normally be just for testing, and I drove around for about 3 miles, then back to the shop.

Weights still have a little clearance when they are opposite the caliper, about 3\16 or so. Caliper has about 1\4 of clearance maybe a little more, it's hard to measure, but I got pictures.

I noticed, you didn't say no to sending me a set of black 20's for cold weather testing.

 Maybe Santa lol.

If you're wanting a set I can see if I can offer you the same ice breaker deal we did for H4ppyB34r. I'll PM you the details. However do keep in mind as my post mentioned the finish we have that has the extra thick clear is the Vivid Titanium not the Black. The Black and Bronze have the same industry standard finish as most of the other top brands. Also even with the thicker finish we'd recommend you hose them down after making contact with road salt. That road salt is brutal!

Hey Team,

Just wanted to share that we have Red Trim caps arriving this week. You can always of
course elect for the stock Black ones and paint to whatever color you like. Our center caps are two piece so that Red ring area below pops right out.
