I can't find them that work for my short bed F150 XL. I ordered some for my truck and they stood zero chance of going in. Did everyone get them when they bought their 2021 trucks?> I am seeing where some buyers did. Does anyone have a part number because I can't find any online that look like they would fit.

Mine came with them and they can be a pain to install. You need to get them exactly flush and flat and they will go in. I think I filed one down a little bit.

I ordered these on Amazon, went on easy, and I've put them to use a few times this week already.

My 2018 came with them. Dealer installed plates. I was on struggle bus with cleats for a bit. as earlier reply said - you need them flush before they go in right . my new 2021 did not include them. Ford has them as accessories at 2x price that Amazon wants for similar.

The cleats came with my truck, were under the back seat. Had only one that went in on it's own, had to do some minor dremeling to get the other three to fit.

I see several videos of guy beating them in with hammers. Why should that be necessary if they lock in when installed? I looked at several trucks on a lot and many did not have the hooks, only the plates.

Mine were under the back seat. Had to remove the brackets from the side of the box and use a rubber mallet to HELP them go into the brackets. Then just reinstalled the brackets.

I used a dead blow mallet to get a couple in the first time. Since then, I haven't had an issue installing or removing any of them. They're still snug going in, but slide into place and lock easily now.

I use the front two to hold down my cross bed tool box from moving and just leave the back two installed. I have not tryed to take then out. Don't see the need to remove them.
