Bought a new XLT PowerBoost.

Hi.

I purchased a 2021 XLT 4x4 PowerBoost last week. It was optioned exactly the way I built online and I was able to get it for 10k less than sticker.

So far very impressed wit the hybrid. I’ve been consistently getting better than the advertised 24mpg, and my best trip mpg so far was 27.1.

I came from a 2019 ranger and it averaged 21 mpg.

I need to get some better pictures, but it rained the day I bought in and my neighborhood has some construction.

Good looking truck and I’m glad to hear you’re getting better than 24 mpg. I have a KR Powerboost on order. I’m a little anxious.

Boy--They have come a long way in the lines of fuel economy. (snarky)
my 05 3.0 5spd Ext Cab gets the same at about 70mph

hell, my 79 Chev with a 454 and no overdrive would get me 14 all day long running empty
My 98 k1500 averages about 17 with my driving routes.

Pleased with the possible mileage of the new ones only because it is better than the old.
not impressed with the overall gains tho.

(To be fair---I fully understand the A/F ratio of 14:1 and this is needed for IC to run properly)
