Bluecruise OTA Status?

Got out on the interstate going to my boat in order to see if it works. It does. Only a 3 mile test but it was fine.

Again, I had recently gotten 2.6.0 and 2.7.1 OTA's successfully. Early Job 1 build.

Ok so I had to know if it actually worked... Drove specifically to the nearest expressway to try it, and it does work! Received BC over the air, finally!

Ford IS capable and willing to upgrade a 2021 F150 all the way to Bluecruise, via OTA

I got an OTA update to 2.8.2 today. It was the first update received OTA since my dealer unstuck the software updates & got Blue Cruise working on 4/18/22. My Lariat is a '21 Job 1. Perhaps Ford is starting to get this OTA sh*t show turned in the right direction.

Now went from 2.8.2 to 2.8.3. OTA. Looks like some cameras work while driving. Glad to see the OTA updates are finally rolling out.

That's awesome! I was really hoping to find mine upgraded to 2.8.2 for my Memorial Weekend travels. No such luck.

Same here. Been on 2.8.2 since 5/14. Not sure why they take so long. Took 6 weeks between last two updates.

Super envious of everyone who has BC working!!

My truck has been to the dealer 3 times now. It looks like it should be working but it doesn't. I am guessing that they missed a module. The power up version has disappeared from my app and update screen in the truck. The BC Coming Soon is also gone from the app. Does anyone still have an active FDRS subscription that would be willing to run my VIN and see if there is something obvious? VIN is 1FTFW1E81MFA65696

All your updates have been done. Your IPMA config didnt update. Its till set for the old Cruise not the new Cruise.

Surprisingly all you need is to have a PMI ran on the IPMA and it should update the Config and get you going everything else is ready to go

So I thought I might have cracked the code and got blue cruise working but it said it was not available. My question; does speed sign recognition have to be active for blue cruise to work? Everything else looks to be enabled properly and set correctly.

just called the Ford Customer Relations . He checked my VIN and said I can wait for the OTAs (on 2.7.1) or have the dealer do it. I’m waiting for the OTAs. He said when it activates I’ll get the first year free. Also their OTA push out schedule now says no later than 30 Jun to get BC out to everyone. They can’t initiate OTAs; pushed in blocks by VIN. Nothing really new. We’ll see.

I've been to my local dealer twice for them to try to get my faded OTA update button to work & they can't even get it to do that. This is the first one they have tried to do. I talked to Ford Customer Relations & she said that they dealer HAS to do this for my truck to update. I don't know anything about all this stuff. Is there anyone that can check my VIN & tell me what I need the dealership to do? Customer Relations called several surrounding dealerships because I have to confidence in my local one & none of them had done any either, that she could get to answer their phones. Supposedly my local dealership is still waiting on the right cable, since late April!

My VIN is 1FTEX1C52MFB69146 and my build date was 4-29-21. I'm so confused and frustrated. I haven't had an update since February 2022.
