Bluecruise OTA Status?

Now that we are in the 3rd quarter of 2021, has anyone heard an update on the status of when we “might expect” the BlueCruise OTA update? I thought I had read awhile back to expect 3rd quarter, which in my mind meant last Sept and not early-July - BTW.

When searching websites, I couldn’t find really any updates since April 14th, then there was quite a few press updates from Ford on that date.


Now it seems that anything that I find says “2nd half of 2021“ rather than 3rd quarter. It’s also quite possible that I’m misread it early on.

FWIW, they changed the "Package" option from "Prep" to the full feature and are including the additional cost in the package. Kinda reading between the lines here, but I'd expect something here soon!

FWIW, they changed the "Package" option from "Prep" to the full feature and are including the additional cost in the package. Kinda reading between the lines here, but I'd expect something here soon!
Been 10 months, so still waiting???

Ford Co-Pilot360™ Technology is a comprehensive collection of available driver-assist features. The Co-Pilot360 Active 2.0 Prep Package includes new offerings such as Ford BlueCruise**, allowing for hands-free driving on more than 130,000 miles of highway across North America using various cameras and sensors.

Availability
BlueCruise hardware will be available as part of the Co-Pilot360 Active 2.0 Prep Package when purchasing the Mustang Mach-E and the F-150 Lariat model and up.

The software to enable BlueCruise will be available in the first quarter of 2022 through a Ford Power-Up software update.

Cost
BlueCruise software will cost approximately $600***, which includes a three-year service period. After this three-year service period, the purchase of the BlueCruise connected service subscription is required to retain this feature.

We shall see, how many quarters have they missed to this point.
15 months is a long time for a software update..

I have a trip planned early summer, would be nice if I have BC along for the ride..

Update 2.5.1 which has most everything for bluecruise is going out now and there will be 2.5.2 in within the next couple of weeks with a gateway module update to fully enable it. It’s been the talk of the ecu/module programming thread for the past few days.

Who knows because my truck is still stuck on some failed update from months ago. I don't even have CarPlay directions in the cluster yet. I am shocked there is no class action on any of this to be honest

Your dealer should be able to take care of that. My truck only recently got the 2.3.0 update that started rolling out in January on March 1. I am planing and getting the adapter and installing the blue cruise updates myself since I do t want to wait.

There seems to be some controversy about whether you get it for 3 years free or only 1 year because you never paid for it up front. I still am confused about that.
Check your windows sticker. I'm confused as well. I'm just going by the post above I made from Ford's site.

I'm in the same group that you are in, no updates since late last year, this is what I got from Ford Yesterday and after I got the email I called to ask if the dealership had the the needed software updates for my truck and I was told "no, just wait, we'll let you know when"

Latest update and date. In service date. EAP Yes/No

2.3.0 since 1/22/22. Job 1 delivered 2/5/21. No EAP (waitlisted)
