My BlueCruise works now. I ordered my F150 in April, it finally made it to the dealer and I picked it up on Nov 23. I'm not sure where the disconnect is but it works great.
If you read the thread this is about Job 1 trucks which did not come with BlueCruise from the manufacturer. Multiple posts on this including the original post.

I can confirm that the BlueCruise driving experience can sometimes feel like a drunk teenager with a learning permit is in control. From my experience with using this feature, it doesn't inspire confidence either on the "Blue" roads or on non-blue roads (where it still works). The feedback alarm seems to be 15 seconds when not on a blue road, and longer between alerts when on the blue road.
I don’t yet have BlueCruise so can’t confirm but when not on a blue road it should not be active. Are you sure you aren’t just confusing it with the standard lane centering and ACC? Does it say “hands free mode” in these situations because if not you likely are just not using BlueCruise in that environment.

I know exactly what you mean. I'm familiar with the system from my 2021 without bluecruise but because my hand was always on the wheel it tended to dampen the back and forth shimmy. When my hands are off the wheel, there is almost and uneasy motion sick feeling when the truck corrects the steering. I'm a little concerned that my wife who gets motion sick isn't going to do well with the hands off driving feel. I've noticed that the shimmy feeling gets pretty bad if it's windy or you get passed by a semi.

The good news is that I can just keep my hand on the wheel to dampen the response the same way I used to do and it' won't give me the stupid red alerts because I don't have enough pressure on the wheel. I will have to contend with the all seeing eye tracking though.

My truck was built in early November and Blue Cruise is not activated. I’m assuming mine is a ”job 2” truck.

I have a Job 1 truck and last week went to a local dealership to pick up a part. Then I stopped by the service department to ask about adding BC. The first service writer I asked looked at me like I was speaking a foreign language. He basically said he had no clue ?‍♂ what I was asking and that he'd ask another service writer. I explained to them both that I had the Active Prep 2.0 hardware for BC and told them it was my understanding that some dealers have the BC software probably on a flash drive or something and they could load it into my truck. So the second guy said "um we're not familiar with that and usually when new electronic things come out it takes us like 6 months to get up to speed on it but he could ask their electronics specialist mechanic to see if he knew anything about it but it was 7:00 and the guy went home at 5". ?

I get the feeling that being an electronics “specialist” at a Ford dealer is a little like being a weatherman. If you get it right every once and a while you can keep your job.

Built in November, or sat in a yard for months waiting for chips and shipped in November?

If truly built in November, then yes, it's a Job 2 and BC should be activated.
Mine was built in October and BC worked once. Took it to dealer and the front camera had lost calibration, and the the plug for the sensor on the drivers door wasn't seated completely. Dealer fixed it in one day and now BC works everywhere.

Might be worth a trip to the dealer.

Yeah build date of November 21, about 30 minutes away from me in Dearborn. I might ask the dealer, thanks. It seems like some others that have Job 2 trucks don’t have Blue Cruise working though, no?

Seems more like you just need to turn it on or do the initial enable

I have only used BlueCruise on a blue road once, but know what you mean there. Couldn't tell if it was more in my head because my hands weren't on the wheel and I was just a bit nervous giving a computer that much control. However, on non blue roads, I have found that as long as the road is fairly straight or gently turning on a curve where you wouldn't have to slow down, it does pretty well. I've been happy other than the fact that it seems the eye sensors don't like my sunglasses. When I am wearing them it pretty regularly tells me to keep my eyes on the road, which I am, and then tells me to take control. Anyone else experience this? I assumed sunglasses wouldn't impact this since those are quite commonly worn by everyone who drives. Mine are prescription, so maybe that impacts it, but again I can't imagine Ford overlooked that. Though most people are still waiting for BlueCruise to work at all, so maybe I am giving Ford too much credit.....

After waiting over 11 months for BC, I'd prefer to have a refund of the $995 I paid for the BC hardware (prep pkg). Methinks the HW in my '21 PB KR has issues with the BC software. Not happy.

Its not something you turn on per se. Turn on regular cruise control, and if it's a mapped highway, it automatically does it. I assume he has at least used cruise control since having the truck.

I did not have to do any initial enabling for it to work in my truck the first day I owned it. I guess it's possible the dealer did that for me before I took ownership.

For everyone’s knowledge, here is the message I just received from Ford Canada:

Ford F-150 BlueCruise not available until second half 2022 - says Ford customer service E0370F1C-D469-456D-931E-54FBE487416E

Bought my F150 Lariat end of December got a $600 rebate for BC. Dealer said when it comes online I could just pay the $600 to activate it. On my way from the dealer BC turned on. Not saying anything to them though. Now it only works on 26 near Charleston, SC. It is a little strange to get used to it but it’s a cool feature not sure I would pay $600 as I don’t do a lot of highway driving.
