I believe we have a different IPC and many of the graphics are different. (Could be wrong so someone correct me if that is the case). Maybe we will get an update that will add it. Maybe we won’t. I had a 24 loaner for a long time and almost nothing looked the same.
This

Different IPC hardware/graphics

Lane Repositioning is visible out the windshield and mirrors on my 2022. Especially with the tow mirrors, because of the concave lower half pointing at the rear tires vs the painted lane lines.

By the way, I'll not be without those elephant ears on any truck in my future. 😁

21-23 trucks and 2024+ have a different IPC. The graphics will be different. It is possible that with an IPC update, the 21-23 trucks will get some improved graphics in the future, but right now, you cannot compare one to the other in terms of what you will see there while using BC, lane change etc.

Ram is charging $285 a year for their hands free. But with a twist, on hands free equipped trucks, they have deleted the non adaptive not handsfree "plain jane" cruise control.

So you are SOL with those trucks....

The lane repositioning is very subtle with 1.4 but it is there. What I notice is I don't need to correct for it like I did with version 1.0. With 1.0, I would frequently grab the wheel and move the truck left as it was otherwise too close to the semi's in the right lane. Since I updated to 1.4, I haven't had to do that. I don't see a major change in lane position, but it is enough to make you more comfortable passing trucks.

I have a 2024 XLT 302a which has Blue Cruise 1.4 since I picked it up in November. The lane change assist is hit or miss. If you are using BC with or without hands-free and you signal to change left or right, even if the area is clear of vehicles, it does not always change you, it could sit for up to 20-30 seconds and sometimes not change you at all. If you force the wheel while it is in that mode, it will chime, turn off lane centering and the wheel will vibrate. When I have passengers who are sleeping, if I need to change lanes and it doesn't change for me, I will disengage BC, change lanes, and turn it back on, or else the chime will wake them.

Other than that, the lane centering, the moving slight left or right when passing or being passed works well.

If you have your speed set and you slow lower because of traffic, if the car notices you can change lanes, it will visibly show you the option, but it will not automatically take action. I'm glad it doesn't because a few times in the right lane about to get off at an exit, the last thing I'd want is my car changing lanes to the left when I am about to take a right exit.
I hated the lane change. It kept turning off when I would nudge it to go, because it was clear. It would tell me I need to look at the road before it would initiate, which is contradictory to checking blind spots. Like you said, it would take forever to change lanes when clear, for a lot of the time.

As for the lane centering, I have put on about 10k miles in the last few months and only noticed the ping pong a couple of times. I would turn off the cruise and re-engage and that usually resolved it.

One more gripe about this BC is that at 82 mph, you no longer have hands free. I don't recall that in the previous version.

Other than that, I haven't noticed too much of a difference from the previous version of BC

I went with a Comma 3x/ Bluepilot specifically because I wanted to use it at higher speeds and on back roads. So far I have been very happy with my decision. As I get up over 85 hands free can start to feel a little dangerous. I have got it up over 90 but not frequently. For me the only advantage BlueCruise has is better lane changing but based upon your comments you may prefer the Comma/ Bluepilot

I am seriously considering making that same move. However, I am a rock and need step by step instructions on installation, or access to someone that knows how to help, should I get in a jam. I purchased a one year BC subscription just to get me through the year, while I figure this out.

Use the thread on here if you have any questions. @Ajzride is great and helped me out a ton. I am a very technical person and still came up with some pretty dumb questions. Now that I have been through it I would be able to try my best to help as well.

Handsfree has always been disabled beyond 80mph (actual. The instrument panel speedometer isn't representative of the speed that disables Hands-free. Rather the PID for vehicle speed is)

It is entirely possible I either never noticed, or never set it that high, to have noticed.

Texas.
We found out almost immediately. 😁

You gotta get there from here? Then you gotta go faster than that.

So you don’t get the choice to run old school cruise control? That’s another reason I won’t own a Dodge.

There are a few Comma3X guys in San Antonio. I'm in west Houston, someone will be able to help if you go that route.

The main questions I have for this is, does this integrate to the existing framework (cameras, sensors, etc)? Can it be installed without using the screen? Do I have to modify anything in the truck? I saw a thread, from a year ago, and there was some programming that needed to be done to get it to work? Have these kinks been worked out? I cam PM someone local if preferred for me to ask direct questions.
