I have BC 1.2 on my ecoboost. While my truck does change lanes it still suffers from unexplained drops. No rhyme or reason. Over the same stretch of road it holds fine then the next day it drops control at the exact same spot.
Funny thing is it never drops when in a difficult situation. Like in a curve with traffic tight in front and to the side. In these difficult to maneuver circumstances it continues to hold. Good thing because it could cause a collision with the vehicle to my side if it just decided to drop control. Otherwise, I rarely can't get more than 4 miles without it dropping.
I have been getting nagged a bit lately to keep my hands on the wheel in non BC lane centering even though I have my hands on the wheel.
BC 1.2 is much better at smother centering but I feel it disconnects just as much as 1.0.
