yes leds do draw LESS amps but the truck is designed for this? have you had the TBC recall ?performed? the pro trailer sticker has nothing to do with the trailer wiring or electrical connections, it only tells the truck where the trailer is in relation to the truck. the book is sort of misleading in that regard, it lets you assume the pro trailer set up does everything imo
if so
does your trailer have a built in battery for the electric brake emergency application? i found on my other ford (super duty) the trailer emergency battery had died dead gone toast and was it was causing weird faults to show up, connected, not connected, no turn signals, then turn signals etc.
i replaced the battery and it started working correctly and as always CHECK the trailer ground for good continuity through the trailer elect plug. the system is also very sensitive to grounding or not grounding
same trailer worked perfect on the 16 expedition only weeks before i traded it off. drove me nuts trying to solve the problem
i chased the battery issue for days, even used a different vehicle and test batteries and could only reproduce the fault on the 21 super duty , the other test vehicles were a 2012 edge and 2018 150
so i figured 20 to 22 they must have tweaked the system or something. then the TBC recall reprogram thing happened and my 22 150 has had zero issues with same trailer

I have a 2023 PBoost Lariat w/Max Tow. New travel trailer, I stored the settings for the trailer and saved them under the name Camper. (33' long w/ electric brakes). First time towing it I tried BLIS and it doesn't sense cars next to the trailer area, only senses them when they are alongside the truck, like the non-towing BLIS. It shows as Ready in the Towing settings for Trailer Blind Spot, I don't see anything else to set. Ideas?

I just rebuilt my boat trailer and changed all my lights to LEDs. The trailer brake recall was just completed on my truck. I did notice a couple days ago that BLIS wasn’t indicating when vehicles were next to my boat. It has always indicated before. Also, the trailer screen didn’t automatically come up in sync4. Otherwise the “check trailer lights” function in Fordpass worked fine.

My "check trailer lights" works great. I only have the 7-pin connector attached, have not used the other smarter tow connector yet. I have the smaller standard factory mirrors (not telescoping tow mirrors), and BLIS works but only senses cars near the truck and is not extended to the trailer. If the trailer on the Sync screen says Ready for Trailer Blind Spot setting (as on my image), is there anything else that needs to be set up? I set it to a 33 foot trailer, as any longer and it won't set it up. Mine is a few inches over 33' actually.

Well... on my 2nd time towing around the hood, I think it actually IS working, it just doesn't sense cars until they are partway next to the trailer, and it might take a couple of seconds.

So my bad. I don't see how the taillight radar can see around my 8' wide travel trailer anyhow? There is no line of sight to the far end of the trailer.
I'm now curious how it even works??

FWIW:

1) Set things up by configuring your trailer(s). Length, width, etc.

2) When you head out on the road, be sure to select your trailer from the list as the active trailer.

Now I see a pattern...I too received the "left turn signal" error with no trouble with the light (LED) on trailer flashing away happily...something to keep awareness of and report if it pops up again!
Add me to the left turn signal list of problems.
